The idea is that instead of using font family preferences and counting on someone&#8217;s browser to have good looking fonts installed; use fonts, that you select, from a remote content delivery service.&#160; <\/p>\n<h6>Google fonts<\/h6>\n<p>you may already know about Google fonts at <a title=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/fonts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/fonts\">https:\/\/www.google.com\/fonts<\/a>. You search or browse for fonts and get link code like so, &lt;link href=&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/fonts.googleapis.com\/css?family=Open+Sans'\">https:\/\/fonts.googleapis.com\/css?family=Open+Sans&#8217;<\/a> rel=&#8217;stylesheet&#8217; type=&#8217;text\/css&#8217;&gt;. Use the font on your page like so,&#160;&#160;&#160; font-family: &#8216;Open Sans&#8217;, sans-serif; <\/p>\n<p>I just did some googling and found some more that are also free:<\/p>\n<h6>Brick<\/h6>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/brick.im\/\" href=\"http:\/\/brick.im\/\">http:\/\/brick.im\/<\/a>&#160; search and click to add fonts to a bucket, then get a link like so, &lt;link rel=&quot;stylesheet&quot; href=&quot;\/\/brick.a.ssl.fastly.net\/Aileron:400&quot;&gt;<\/p>\n<h6>Adobe Edge Fonts<\/h6>\n<p><a title=\"https:\/\/edgewebfonts.adobe.com\/index\" href=\"https:\/\/edgewebfonts.adobe.com\/index\">https:\/\/edgewebfonts.adobe.com\/index<\/a>&#160;&#160; Search for or select a font, you get a link like so: &lt;script src=&quot;\/\/use.edgefonts.net\/abel.js&quot;&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;,&#160; use the font in your style sheet like so, font-family: abel, sans-serif;<\/p>\n<h6>Redfonts<\/h6>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/redfonts.tk\/\" href=\"http:\/\/redfonts.tk\/\">http:\/\/redfonts.tk\/<\/a>&#160;&#160; search for or click on a fonts and you get a style link like so: &lt;link rel=&#8217;stylesheet&#8217; type=&#8217;text\/css&#8217; href=&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/redfonts.tk\/pre\/FlNua'\/\">http:\/\/redfonts.tk\/pre\/FlNua&#8217;\/<\/a>&gt;.
